This LED illuminator is designed specifically for the Nikon C-DSS Diascopic microscope, and replaces all existing electronics. If you have a C-DSS Diascopic with failed circuit board, rheostat, or socket this is the perfect solution It provides brighter illumination while being more energy  efficient. You can install this yourself, or we can install this into your microscope for an additional cost.

• Custom-designed to replace the original transmitted light (diascopic) illuminator in the Nikon C-DSS base.
• Entire illuminator assembly is housed within the base of the microscope.
• Most tools provided.
• All illuminator systems have full 0-100% intensity control.
