Chroma 49304 ET - Gold FISH Filter Set

Chroma 49304 ET - Gold FISH Filter Set

The Chroma 49304 ET - Gold FISH filter set from Chroma Technology is designed for use with commercially available Gold FISH probes and chromosome painting techniques.

Specifications

  • Excitation Filter (ET546/10x): Centers at 546 nm with a 10 nm bandwidth, effectively isolating the excitation wavelength suitable for Gold FISH.
  • Dichroic Beamsplitter (T556lpxr): Reflects wavelengths below 556 nm and transmits those above.
  • Emission Filter (ET572/23m): Centers at 572 nm with a 23 nm bandwidth, accurately capturing the emission spectrum of Gold FISH.

Applications

Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) is a molecular cytogenetic technique that uses fluorescent probes to detect and localize specific DNA sequences on chromosomes. This method enables researchers and clinicians to visualize genetic material in cells, facilitating the diagnosis of genetic disorders, identification of chromosomal abnormalities, and gene mapping.

Compatibility

Compatible with a wide range of fluorescence microscopes. Select the appropriate cube for your particular microscope manufacturer/model:
